The title “Pathways”, refers to the vertical lines in the central panel of this wall hanging, which draws the eye forward and upwards through the design. The strong blues, greens and yellows are inspired by a bright summer day.

Linen
This tapestry has been woven using linen. Linen is spun from the flax plant making it a natural sustainable product. In the past flax was widely grown, harvested, and spun in Ireland and although this industry has declined there are now new initiatives to revive these old skills.
